The dark regions in the starry night sky are not pockets in the universe that are devoid of stars as had long been thought. 这道题我选错了，的确很容易错选 A，事物往往在于一种比较，不要看到一个心仪的答案以后马上就接着 next，一定要把所有的选项都读完。定位到文章 L10，“It is only because of the enormous interstellar distances that so little material per unit of volume becomes so significant”
A. 这个是 ETS 在 T 和 G 中最常用的伎俩，选项的每个词长得和文章原句极为相似，并且还同义替换了一个关键词，简直就是正确答案，如果没有 C 他就是正确答案；
B. 文章没有说 normal units；
C. 相对完美的诠释了原文的句子，比 A 选项内容更丰满，正确选项；
D. 句子中没有 gas；
E. 句子没有涉及，即使涉及和文章表达的意思相反；

第一个，根据题干的because space is so vast定位在10行的It is only because of the enormous interstellar distances一句。文中说因为星际距离太远以至于单位体积内很少的物质也显得显著了。说白了就是：密度小，但体积庞大，所以也很大量（质量大）。那么答案就是C了：即便稀疏分布的物质，只要足够远也可以被遮住。这个题干扰是A，但A说的是little of the interstellar material，其实不是物质少，而是物质的密度小。
